A premier resort of Bago City. I think this place brings back nostalgic memories. I have visited this place for a number of times already and I must say that  this place the best place for relaxing, resting and having fun too.

Although the facilities are limited but the ambiance is authentic. We love taking a dip in the river and swimming at night. We didn’t bring much food so just bought at kiosks or convenience stores lining up the area near the administration office. The people were very accommodating, friendly and down-to-earth.
They have a lot of pools; kiddie pools and as well as Olympic pools. The resort is also in between two  rivers and you can go down and have a swim or dip your feet in the water. This place is great for nature lovers.

The picture above symbolizes:  the blue background for blue sky , white background for clear water and green mountains for a rainforest. Having green, old and large trees... This is a relaxing place...

It's one of the best place to unwind  after a stressful day . This is a good place to visit for relaxation and comfort.

Mag-Aso Falls, Kabankalan City

September 21, 2011 was a blast. My friends and I went to kabankalan City, Negros Occidental Philippines which is situated within Balicaocao watershed. We had a really great time.

At 10 in the morning from South Terminal in Bacolod City, we rode on the Ceres bus going to Kabankalan City via Dumaguete-Mabinay route. The price was 120 for airconditioned bus and 90 for non-airconditioned.  The bus had a stopover at Kabankalan Bus terminal for 15 minues then we got off at Barangay Oringao old public market in Kabankalan.

Then we rented a motorcycle for 100 pesos, 25 pesos per person, to take us up to the falls, Only 4 people could fit in one motorcycle. Estimated travel time was 15 minutes from the highway. the whole time. :)

When we arrived, we were welcomed with a sign of Mag-Aso Falls made with stone. At the top, one can take a swim in their spring water pool. Or can take a short walk going down the falls. It was breathtaking.

It’s major attractions are it’s mini-falls and the 75 foot main falls that drop into a clear pool.

We also went hiking to see other falls. Since there were no public vehicles available going up the resort, we literally walked! I can’t estimate how many kilometers we hiked but all I can say is-- it was a very long climb.

These are my friends. They were all drunk and wasted. Some of them did some crazy things. ahahaha.... Really funny! Too bad I was not allowed to take pictures of it. ahaha... because they asked me not too. :)

Here are some of our pics.

The rates are as follows as of June 2013

Entrance fee: 50 pesos per person

Overnight fee: 1,000 pesos goof for 2 persons

Additional fee of 200 pesos for excess person (maximum of 4 persons per room)

Regular cottage: 200 pesos

Dressing room: 2 pesos

Shower room: 2 pesos

Lifesaver for kids: 30 pesos

Finally, time to go home. ^_^ There was no means of transportation so we had to walk down the hill. I don't know exactly how many kilometers we had to walk but it was very long!
Then we headed back to Bacolod City.. ^^

It was a one hell of an adventure! :) Had so much fun!
